Ingredients

4 raw carrots, sliced4 eggs1 cup of oil2 cups of all-purpose flour1 cup of sugar2 tablespoons of baking powder2 tablespoons of unsweetened cocoa powder

Preparation

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C).
  2. Cut the carrots into thin pieces and blend them with the eggs and the oil.
  3. In a separate bowl, sift the flour, baking powder, and sugar, and mix well.
  4. Gradually add the blended carrot mixture to the dry ingredients, stirring until a smooth batter forms.
  5. Grease a baking pan with butter and flour, then pour in half of the batter.
  6. Mix the cocoa powder into the remaining batter until fully combined.
  7. Pour the chocolate batter randomly over the carrot batter. 
  8. Use a knife or spatula to gently swirl the chocolate into the carrot mixture, creating a marbled effect.
  9. Bake for about 35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
