Ingredients

3 cups of all-purpose flour1 ½ cups of water1 teaspoon instant dry yeast1 teaspoon salt

Preparation

  1. In a large bowl, combine the flour, salt, and instant dry yeast and mix well.
  2. Make a well in the center of the flour and pour in the water.
  3. Mix everything with a spoon, there is no need to knead.
  4. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and let it rise for 8 hours at room temperature.
  5. Preheat the oven to 480°F (250°C).
  6. Transfer the dough to a sheet of parchment paper dusted with flour.
  7. Shape it into a ball (add a little more flour if the dough is too sticky).
  8. Place it in a preheated oven safe heavy pot, cover with the lid, and bake for 30 minutes.
  9. After 30 minutes, remove the lid and bake for another 10 minutes.
  10. Keep an eye on it so it doesn’t overbrown.

Note: This recipe does not use active dry yeast, please make sure you only use "instant dry yeast".
