Ingredients
1 liter of 90-proof alcohol (4 cups)1 liter of water (4 cups)1 kg of sugar (2.2 lbs)Peels of 6 large, ripe tangerines
Preparation
- Dissolve the sugar in the water.
- Pour it, along with the alcohol and tangerine peels, into a wide-mouthed glass jar or jug.
- Shake the jar a few times twice a day for 9 days.
- Afterward, strain the liquid through paper filters (like coffee filters) to clarify, and enjoy.
